Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major new-build commercial construction projects. Based within easy reach of Lincoln, you will take overall responsibility for delivery from pre-construction through to handover, directing the project team on site.

You will manage safety, quality and programme, coordinate design, procurement and subcontractors, and communicate with clients and stakeholders to protect the project scope, budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contracting environment.
• Experience delivering significant new-build construction projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Based within 1 hour commute of Lincoln.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the delivery of new-build construction projects.
• Manage projects from pre-construction and mobilisation through to completion and handover.
• Lead and coordinate the site-based project delivery team.
• Manage Site Managers, Engineers, Design Managers and Building Services Managers.
• Work with the commercial team to maintain financial and contractual control.
• Develop and manage the construction programme with the Project Planner.
• Monitor progress against programme and implement corrective actions.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure packages meet safety, quality and programme.
• Coordinate design, procurement and construction activities.
• Chair project, progress and subcontractor meetings.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Ensure quality standards and compliance with HSE procedures.
• Oversee project reporting and handover documentation.
