Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join their office-based team. You will bridge clients and design functions, translating complex enquiry information into clear requirements for the design and delivery teams, with a strong focus on detailed drawings and CAD information.

In this pre-construction role you’ll review architectural drawings, technical specifications and CAD data, support the pre-construction process from enquiry through to design development, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing architectural drawings and technical information.
• Ability to interpret and understand detailed construction drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and technical drawings.
• Analyse detailed enquiry information and project requirements.
• Translate complex technical information into clear requirements for design and delivery teams.
• Interface between clients, customers and the internal design team.
• Review technical specifications and identify key project requirements.
• Review CAD files and detailed drawing packages.
• Identify technical issues, inconsistencies and potential design considerations.
• Support the pre-construction process from initial enquiry through to design development.
• Work with design, estimating and commercial teams.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical input where required.
• Ensure information is accurate and complete before progressing projects.
• Manage and review large volumes of technical documentation.
• Assist with preparing technical proposals and project information.
