Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead coordination, dry lining, blockwork and fit-out of utility areas on a major interiors project in the UK. The role demands hands-on leadership, strong design-team engagement, and active site oversight to deliver on time and to spec.

Key requirements include SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid, with the ability to drive safe practices, manage RAMS, and coordinate with supply chain partners.

Qualifications

• SMSTS qualification required.
• CSCS card required.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial fit-out processes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to contractor prestart meetings.
• Attend and contribute to design team meetings.
• Chair weekly sub-contractor progress meetings and issue minutes.
• Attend safe starts and approve RAMS.
• Attend DABs meetings and coordinate with trades; issue DABS report when needed.
• Enforce Health & Safety on site.
• Identify potential problems and propose buildability solutions.
• Be tech savvy and engage with supply chain and team members.
