Job summary

Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is seeking an enthusiastic nursery practitioner to join our team. You will work with children aged 0-5, providing a caring, stimulating environment and supporting daily care and education. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in a good or outstanding setting and a Level 3 qualification in child care and education.

DBS disclosure will be required. We value flexibility, teamwork and excellent communication, with training and development opportunities

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's experience with young children in a good or outstanding setting.
• Hold a Level 3 (or above) qualification in child care and education.
• Ability to support nursery management in providing high quality care and education.
• Work as part of a team of nursery practitioners and assistants.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
• Cover shifts to ensure staff–child ratios are maintained, including emergencies.
• Contribute to a caring, stimulating environment with opportunities for learning.
• Collaborate with nursery staff to deliver high quality activities and experiences.

The position offered is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated candidate holding a level 3 qualification with a minimum of 1 years experience to join our team.

You will be working with children aged 0-5 years old.

You will be required to demonstrate knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, be outgoing, confident, flexible, friendly and have good communication skills within our team.

We are also seeking to employ qualified staff members for relief cover, covering annual leave and emergency staff absences.

You will be expected to cover with little notice, in emergency cases, to ensure staff - child ratios are adhered to at all times.

£25,615 - £27,710 per annum pro rata (£22,666 - £24,519 per annum)
