Leigh Academy Hundred of Hoo Nursery is looking for a motivated and experienced Room Leader to join our dedicated team in the baby room starting in January 2027. We are seeking an educator with previous experience in a baby room preferred, who is truly committed to enhancing our provision, supporting the Nursery Manager, and providing our babies with a safe, warm, and stimulating environment to thrive.

In this exciting role, you will take charge of the day-to-day operation of the baby room to the highest standards, ensuring the best possible environment and care are provided for every family. Working alongside a supportive, experienced, and fun team, you will use your sound knowledge of infant development to guide staff, foster early curiosity, and support rapid developmental milestones at every crucial stage.

Our nursery is open all year, with only three short closure periods: one week at Christmas and two weeks during the summer.

This is a fixed term (maternity cover) full year opportunity, working 40 hours per week (8am - 5pm) and offers an actual salary of £29,319 per annum - based on qualification based on qualification.
