Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust seeks an enthusiastic nursery practitioner for Tinywoods Nursery in Oldbury. A Level 3 qualification in child care and education and at least one year of relevant experience are required to deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover, 37.5 hours per week during term time, with opportunities for CPD and career development across the MAT. The role requires an outgoing, flexible and communicative team player.

Qualificações

The position offered is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated candidate holding a level 3 qualification with a minimum of 1 years experience to join our team. You will be working with children aged 0-5 years old. You will be required to demonstrate knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, be outgoing, confident, flexible, friendly and have good communication skills within our team.

We are also seeking to employ qualified staff members for relief cover, covering annual leave and emergency staff absences. You will be expected to cover with little notice, in emergency cases, to ensure staff - child ratios are adhered to at all times.

The successful applicant will:

• Be required to have at least 1 years’ experience of working with young children in a good or outstanding setting.
• Hold a level 3 (or above) qualification in child care and education.
• Have the ability to support the nursery management in providing high quality and effective day to day care and education for children by providing a caring and stimulating environment full of opportunities and experiences for the children and families to learn from and explore.
• Be able to work as part of a team of qualified and experienced Nursery practitioners and assistants.
