Lofthouse Group, a fast-growing architecture and interiors practice in the United Kingdom, is seeking a Technical Director to influence how the practice operates across every studio and project.

You will build a practical toolkit of standards, lead a multi-year improvement programme, and guard the technical reputation while enabling studio leaders to own change. This is a high-visibility role with direct access to owners and a clear pathway to equity partnership for the right person.

Qualifikationen

• Post-qualification experience in architecture/interiors or built environment.
• Proven ability to influence senior colleagues without formal authority.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and design governance.

Aufgaben

• Build trusted relationships with studio principals and understand priorities.
• Develop a practical toolkit of technical standards and ways of working.
• Lead a 3–5 year programme of incremental improvement with studio leaders as partners.
• Grow a specialist team covering building regulations, planning, CDM, design safety, and inclusive design.
• Promote knowledge sharing and identify cross-studio best practices.
