Job summary

Oho Group in London is seeking a Technical Lead to own the technical direction of complex projects as the business scales. You will shape architecture, drive decisions and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on, ensuring high standards and robust delivery.

This is an in-office role in London. You’ll thrive in a fast-moving environment, turn ambitious ideas into practical, scalable solutions, and collaborate across product, design and infrastructure teams to raise the bar on performance,

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience, including senior experience.
Proven ownership of major projects from architecture through to production.
Comfortable leading technical decisions, mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards.
Equally happy discussing system design and getting hands-on with difficult technical problems.
Thrives in fast-moving environments.
Rust experience is a plus, but exceptional technical ability matters most.

Responsibilities

Owning technical direction and making key architectural decisions.
Leading complex projects from initial design through to delivery.
Setting engineering standards around performance, reliability and code quality.
Mentoring engineers while remaining hands-on with the most challenging problems.
Working closely with the wider business to turn ambitious ideas into robust technical solutions.
