Qualifications

• RGN qualification

• Annual NMC renewal and adherence to the Code of Professional Conduct
• Experience in general practice or primary care is desirable

Responsibilities

• Manage long-term conditions such as respiratory conditions
• Assess, evaluate and monitor treatment plans
• Provide wound care and manage complex dressings
• Give adult and childhood immunisations
• Travel vaccinations and cervical screening
• Carry out contraception and sexual health screening
• Promote healthy lifestyles and navigate patients to services
• Mentor health care assistants
• Ensure infection control policies are followed
• Participate in audits and development plans
