Job summary

Bicester Health Centre is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care within a busy GP practice. The role offers flexible working patterns, with options for full-time, part-time or job share, and a competitive benefits package.

The post requires an Adult Nurse Registration with the UK NMC, with a minimum of two years post-registration experience. Training and development opportunities are provided, including pay enhancements for extra hours.

Qualifications

• Adult nurse registration with UK NMC.
• Minimum 2 years post-registration experience.
• Desirable: audit experience.
• Desirable: experience working in a GP Practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients and support doctors and the primary healthcare team.
• Administer vaccinations and travel health advice under guidelines.
• Run well-person clinics and health promotion programs with lifestyle advice.
• Perform venipuncture, wound care, ECGs, and basic clinical procedures.
• Maintain infection control and stock/equipment management.
