Pipeland Medical Practice in St Andrews invites applications for a Practice Nurse (Band 6) on a 30-hour week contract. The role focuses on chronic disease management and running clinics for COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, CHD, Hypertension and other cardiovascular conditions, with opportunity to promote healthy lifestyles within our patient population of 15,000.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC registration to practice in Scotland.
• Willingness to complete NES GP Practice Nurse course or equivalent if required.
• Experience in primary care is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Manage chronic diseases and run clinics for COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, CHD, Hypertension and related conditions.
• Promote healthy lifestyles and support patient education and self-management.
• Conduct Family Planning, Cervical Cytology and INR clinics.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team in a busy community hospital setting.
