Job summary

Pipeland Medical Practice in St Andrews (Fife) is seeking a Practice Nurse to join a forward-thinking team. The role involves chronic disease management and running clinics for COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, CHD, hypertension and CVD, with opportunities in Family Planning, Cervical Cytology and INR clinics.

Independent prescribing is desirable but not essential. Hours are 30 per week with days to be negotiated; training through NES may be offered.

• The ideal candidate will be friendly and motivated with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage chronic diseases and autonomously run clinics for COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, CHD, Hypertension, CVD.
• Promote healthy lifestyles to patients with health conditions.
• Provide Family Planning, Cervical Cytology and INR clinics.
