Job summary

ASA Medical Group in Doncaster area is seeking a Practice Nurse to join a busy, multi-site team across Armthorpe, Intake and Auckley. The role is full-time, with part-time consideration for the right candidate.

You’ll support chronic disease care, immunisations, family planning, wound care, ECGs and venepuncture, working closely with GPs and other nurses. Requirements include NMC registration, experience in primary care, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Primary Care and with a team.
• NMC registered with valid UK license to practice.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Driving Licence required for site-to-site travel.

Responsibilities

• Cytology (smear tests) where applicable.
• Chronic disease management, including asthma, COPD and diabetes.
• Baby and travel immunisations.
• Family planning, including pill checks and depo injections.
• Ear irrigations and wound care/dressings.
• ECGs and venepuncture.
• General practice nursing duties as directed.
