Primary Integrated Community Services Ltd (PICS) is seeking a Practice Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care within a GP practice. You will work with the Lead Nurse and GPs to manage chronic conditions, promote health, provide wound care and conduct screening activities including cervical screening and immunisations.

The post involves working on Thursdays and Fridays with a 7:30am start on one of those days, contributing to audits, governance and service development within the practice.

Competenze

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Evidence of recent CPD and training.
• Experience of working in General Practice is preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver care autonomously within scope of practice.
• Support GPs and ANPs to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Promote health and prevent ill health through programmes and screenings.
• Manage and review care plans for patients with long-term conditions.
• Provide cervical screening and vaccinations according to policy.
• Support women for cervical cytology and contraception information.
