Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking a motivated Practice Manager for Harley Street Dental & Implant Clinic in London. You will lead a sizeable private practice team and drive service excellence while overseeing operations, data and finances.

The role requires full-time commitment (40 hours per week over 5 days, occasional Saturday) with a competitive hourly rate in a private healthcare setting. The clinic is part of PortmanDentex, a long-established UK dental group.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience in dentistry or a similar service-focused background in private healthcare.
• Experience leading a team of circa 50 colleagues, with different working patterns and backgrounds.
• Passionate about delivering great service.
• Leading and supporting colleagues to perform at their best.
• Confident working with data and finances (P&L, KPIs, budgets).
• Focused on delivering operational excellence: from fully-functioning equipment and facilities, to a compliant, process-driven practice team

Whether you're an experienced Practice Manager in dentistry or come from a similar private healthcare background, this could be just the opportunity you've been waiting for.

We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Practice Manager to join our fabulous team at Harley Street Dental & Implant Clinic in London.

• Full-time hours available, 40 hours per week over 5 days, with occasional Saturday working
• Competitive hourly rate
• 14 surgery fully private practice, with specialisms including prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics and oral surgery, in addition to general dentistry
• Harley Street Dental & Implant Clinic is the oldest private practice in England and was established in 1924 - it's situated on the site of Florence Nightingale Hospital before she left for the Crimean War
• Large team of around 50 colleagues, all of whom with a passion for delivering exceptional care and support to patients

Please note that as part of your role, you’ll be the Registered Manager for this practice.
