Role Overview

Reporting to the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role combines patient care and commercial responsibilities. It requires a strong leader passionate about healthcare, patient safety, and business profitability. The role involves managing pharmacy targets, supervising the store Pharmacist and team, and striving to make Asda Pharmacy a leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experiences and ensure safety.
• Support and develop direct reports and locums to uphold high standards of service, compliance with GPhC standards, and clinical governance.
• Collaborate with in-store, regional, and head office teams for clinical and service support.

Work Schedule

Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 09:00 - 21:00

Week 2: Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 09:00 - 21:00

Candidate Profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with GPhC
• Experienced in NHS and private healthcare services
• Capable of balancing management and pharmacy duties
• Able to motivate and inspire teams to meet KRAs
• Skilled in handling challenging situations and maintaining strong store and field relationships

Applicants must possess a valid GPhC registration, right to work in the UK, and safeguarding qualifications. A DBS check and enrollment in the update service are also required.
