GP Practice in Great Dunmow is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead HR, operations, compliance and patient relations across two sites. You will guide clinical and administrative teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care with strong leadership and oversight.

As Practice Manager, you will be at the heart of our practice, working alongside our 5 friendly and supportive GP Partners. We are looking for an experienced and motivated manager to lead the HR, operational, compliance and patient relationship functions of our busy GP surgery. As a leader you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe and effective running of the practice while supporting our clinical and administrative teams. The successful candidate will provide visible and effective leadership and oversight, support continuous improvement and maintain high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.Main duties of the job Operational Leadership: provide clear and effective management of the day-to-day operations of the practice. HR & People Management: recruitment, staff wellbeing , performance management and staff development. Compliance & Governance: ensure compliance with CQC standards, NHS contractual requirements , IG regulations, policies, risk assessments and audits. Financial Management: financial planning, budgeting and business performance. Strategic Planning: drive business planning, quality improvement, service development and long-term organisational stability. Patient Focus: Ensure high-quality patient experience, complaints handling and communication.
