The Ker Practice is seeking a highly motivated and experiencedPractice Managerto join our friendly, well-established teaching Practice in the south of Glasgow. This is due to retirement. Our Practice population is 10150 and we provide services from two sites - Croftfoot and the New Gorbals Health Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills to oversee the day-to-day and strategic management of the Practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient centered care whilst ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all Practice services and business. You will be supported by an experienced Assistant Manager and Practice Team.
ThePractice Managerwill be responsible for the overall management of the Practice, ensuring that systems and processes are effective and compliant with policies and regulation. You will lead, support, and develop the extended Practice team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
You will be responsible for resource allocation and premises management together with ensuring compliance with local and NHS governance and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will drive service improvement initiatives, support quality assurance processes, and act as a key point of contact for patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
The Practice works in partnership with NES and the University of Glasgow teaching FY2 doctors and Medical Students. We also provide General Medical Services to The Thistle.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in a management role, ideally within a Practice, healthcare or NHS setting. You will bring strong leadership and be confident in managing and developing our team. You should have excellent organisational and communication abilities and experience in Data Protection and HR processes.
