Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking a motivated Practice Manager to lead a 5-surgery dental practice in Cheltenham. The role involves managing daily operations, delivering excellent patient care, and leading a team to perform at their best.

You will be the Registered Manager for the practice, with responsibilities over P&L, KPIs, and budgets. The position offers 40 hours per week across five days, with core hours 8:30-5:30 and a competitive hourly rate.

• Experience managing a dental practice or leadership experience as a lead dental nurse is a bonus but not essential

We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Practice Manager to join our fabulous team at Cheltenham Pittville Lawn.

• 40 hours a week over 5 days
• Core normal practice manager working hours are 8:30-5:30pm
• Practice opening hours Mon 8-6pm, Tues 8-5pm, Weds 8-8pm, Thurs 8-4pm and Fri 8-3pm
• Competitive hourly rate
• 5-surgery, specialist high level private practice
• Please note that as part of your role, you’ll be the Registered Manager for this practice.

About You

• A healthcare, retail, hospitality, or similar service-focused background - experience managing a dental practice or strong leadership experience as a lead dental nurse is an added bonus but not essential
• Passionate about delivering great service

• Confident working with financials (P&L, KPIs, budgets)
• Focused on delivering operational excellence: from fully-functioning equipment and facilities, to a compliant, process-driven practice team
