Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking a Practice Manager to lead teams across Beaufort Dental Practice, Burton-on-Trent and Hughes & Owen Dental Care, Swadlincote. The role supports dual-site operations with 26–40 hours weekly, offering an attractive hourly rate up to £18 and on-site parking.

The successful candidate will be registered manager for the practices, steering service delivery, governance, and financial performance in a privacy-conscious private dental group environment.

Due to our wonderful Practice Manager moving into retirement following 20 years with the company, we are looking for an experienced people-focused dual or single site, Practice Manager. This role will be leading our friendly & experienced teams in our beautiful practices in Swadlincote (South Derbyshire) and / or Burton-on-Trent. This role can be considered as either a full time or part time basis, so get in touch and let us know what works for you!

Available Positions

2 x part time (3 days per week) at either Beaufort Dental Practice, Burton-on-Trent or Hughes & Owen Dental Care, Swadlincote.

Or

1 x full time Monday - Friday, dual site role supporting both practices.

• Hours: 26 - 40 hours per week Monday - Friday
• Competitive hourly rate: up to £18 per hour in line with experience
• Supportive and collaborative operations manager and business partners, assisting with overall practice growth and management

Beaufort Dental practice is a private, well equipped 3 surgery practice offering implants, whitening, smile makeovers, facial aesthetics with free team parking on site.

Hughes & Owen Dental Care is a private 5 surgery practice offering a range of treatments including Invisalign, implants & whitening, with free team parking on site.

Please note that as part of your role, you’ll be the Registered Manager for this practice.
