Clayton Legal is supporting an international law firm in appointing a Practice Development Lawyer to the Real Estate team. The role suits an experienced Real Estate lawyer seeking to move away from fee earning or an established PDL seeking a new platform.

It is a strategic, high-impact position supporting the wider Real Estate group. The role involves advising on technical queries, leading research, producing client briefings, and delivering training, while evolving precedents and know-how and

Qualifications

• England & Wales qualified with strong Real Estate experience.
• Existing PDL/PSL experience or genuine interest in moving into a knowledge role.
• Experience contributing to know-how, training or client content.
• Commercially aware with a strong understanding of the property market.
• Confident collaborating across teams and seniority levels.

Responsibilities

• Advising on technical legal queries for Real Estate matters.
• Leading on legal research and tracking developments in Real Estate.
• Producing client briefings and thought leadership pieces.
• Delivering training (internal & client-facing) on Real Estate topics.
• Managing and evolving precedents and know-how for the practice.
• Drafting practice notes to support fee earners.
• Supporting innovation and process improvement projects within the team.
• Working closely with fee earners to stay aligned with market trends.
• Identifying and mitigating risk issues in Real Estate work.
• Managing third-party providers and related services.
