Job summary

Trinity Professional in Ludlow is seeking a Practice Accountant to join a high-achieving team. The successful candidate will assist with preparing accounts and tax computations and liaise with clients and HMRC.

Ideal for ACA/ACCA qualified or AAT-qualified, including newly or part-qualified candidates with relevant practice experience, you will work across Xero, Sage and QuickBooks and visit client premises as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice setting.
• ACA or ACCA qualification, 2+ years post-qualification preferred.
• AAT-qualified or part-qualified candidates welcome.
• Experience with accounts and tax computations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Xero, Sage or QuickBooks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts from incomplete accounting records.
• Prepare business and corporation tax computations.
• Use Xero, Sage and QuickBooks for client work.
• Correspond with clients and HMRC as needed.
• Visit client premises to perform accounting tasks.
• Build strong relationships with owner-managed businesses.
• Collaborate with Managers, Directors and Partners to meet deadlines.
