Job summary

bk plus in Dudley is recruiting an accounts senior to join our busy accounts office. You will work with the accounts team to produce Limited company, sole trader and partnership accounts as well as corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.

Day-to-day duties include preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, reviewing junior staff work and training, and communicating with HMRC and clients by face-to-face meetings or telephone/email to discuss adjustments and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3 years practice experience.
• ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Experience using Sage, Xero, CCH would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships and Sole Traders.
• Prepare Management Accounts.
• Review juniors' work and assist training.
• Prepare personal tax returns.
• Communicate with HMRC.
• Able to meet deadlines.
• Meet clients face to face or discuss via phone/email to discuss adjustments, etc.
