Job summary

Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited is partnering with a well-established accountancy practice in Reading to recruit an Outsourcing Supervisor.

You'll manage a portfolio of outsourcing clients, oversee bookkeeping and management accounts work, and mentor junior team members while helping to deliver exceptional client service. You'll develop client relationships and review work for accuracy, supporting cloud accounting adoption across client bases.

Qualifications

• Experience in outsourcing, bookkeeping or management accounts within a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience supervising or reviewing the work of others is advantageous.
• Able to mentor junior staff and liaise with managers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of outsourcing clients across a range of industries
• Reviewing bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts prepared by the team
• Preparing more complex management accounts and financial reports
• Acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day client queries
• Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members
• Assisting clients with cloud accounting software, process improvements and finance function support
• Working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates with previous outsourcing, bookkeeping or management accounts experience gained within a UK accountancy practice. Experience supervising or reviewing the work of others would be advantageous, although candidates ready to step into their first supervisory role are also encouraged to apply.
