Howett Thorpe Recruitment Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Management Accountant to join its Outsourcing team in Basingstoke. You will manage a portfolio of outsourcing clients, delivering management accounts, bookkeeping and financial reporting while building strong relationships and adding value.

You will process data, assist with statutory accounts, support with accounting software, and collaborate with tax, payroll and other service teams to improve processes and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, PQ also considered
• At least 2 years' UK practice outsourcing experience
• Strong management accounts and bookkeeping knowledge
• Good understanding of UK accounting standards
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively
• Confident approach to problem solving and process improvement

Management Accountant – About The Role

This role will involve managing a portfolio of outsourcing clients and acting as a key point of contact for day to day accounting matters. You will support clients with management accounts, bookkeeping and financial reporting, while building strong working relationships and identifying opportunities to add value.

You will be responsible for processing and reviewing financial data, preparing management information, and assisting with statutory accounts preparation. The role will also involve supporting clients with accounting systems and collaborating closely with colleagues across tax, payroll and wider business services teams.
