Job summary

Howett Thorpe is recruiting a Management Accountant to join its Outsourcing team in Basingstoke. The role focuses on management accounts, bookkeeping and financial reporting for a portfolio of outsourcing clients, building strong client relationships and adding value.

You will process and review financial data, prepare management information, and assist with statutory accounts, while collaborating with tax, payroll and wider business services teams in a modern, expanding practice.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (PQ also considered).
• At least 2 years' UK practice outsourcing experience.
• Strong management accounts and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Good understanding of UK accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
• Confident approach to problem solving and process improvement.

Responsibilities
