Job summary

Matalan is seeking a creative and commercially minded PR & influencer manager to shape how customers, media and creators experience the brand. You will lead consumer PR and influencer strategy, building relationships across UK media and creator networks, and driving commercially impactful storytelling.

You will oversee partnerships, events and campaigns, working with cross-functional teams to ensure activity is aligned with brand messaging on affordability and value.

Qualifications

• Experience at manager level in PR/influencer marketing.
• Strong media relations and influencer networks.
• Ability to spot culture trends and turn moments into earned media.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated consumer PR and influencer strategy for Matalan.
• Build relationships with journalists, editors, influencers and creators.
• Create press and creator-led storytelling around campaigns and partnerships.
• Manage ambassadors, content partners and budgets.
• Collaborate with social, product, and commercial teams to align activity.
• Lead events and experiential campaigns to deepen engagement.
