Job summary

PQShield seeks a Director of Software Engineering to lead the development of next‑generation PQC software products and architectures. You will oversee cryptographic software libraries, secure protocols, and IP blocks, delivering high‑performance solutions across embedded, cloud, and data centers.

As part of the Engineering leadership team, you will mentor engineers, align with the PQC roadmap, and collaborate with cryptographers, hardware engineers, and product managers to bring secure PQC

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in software security, cryptographic software implementations, and PQC knowledge.
• Experience in secure software development and validation, including languages like C, C++, Rust.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the software engineering strategy aligned with PQC roadmap.
• Lead and mentor software engineers and security experts to foster innovation and excellence.
• Champion Agile processes to improve velocity, predictability, and quality.
• Oversee design and implementation of cryptographic software libraries and secure protocols.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to integrate software and cryptography solutions.
• Ensure scalable, high-performance architectures for embedded, mobile, cloud, and data center use cases.
