PQShield, a UK-based quantum-safe security company, is seeking a Senior Cryptography Software Engineer to design and implement secure embedded software. You will work with founders on next‑gen PQC technology and contribute to core cryptography libraries across ARM and RISC‑V ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in computer science, mathematics, or a related field with cryptography or computer security focus.
• Proficiency in C and Assembly; experience with resource-constrained, bare-metal environments; Rust is a plus.
• Familiarity with classical and post-quantum cryptography, NIST PQC candidates, and security standards like FIPS.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and test cryptographic primitives for classical and post-quantum scenarios with high correctness and performance.
• Develop cryptographic solutions on hardware (FPGA, coprocessors) with acceleration for ARM and RISC‑V.
• Harden implementations against side-channel attacks and fault injections using constant-time techniques.
• Collaborate with cryptographers and cross-functional teams to review, validate, and secure software.
• Perform security-focused code reviews and support threat modeling and risk assessments.
