Job summary

PQShield seeks a Lead Software Engineer to steer a cryptographic software IP team through design, verification and delivery. You will guide architecture reviews, plan timelines, allocate resources, and mentor engineers while ensuring high quality and best practices.

The role demands extensive experience in embedded C, cryptography, and leadership, with the ability to coordinate across hardware, product vulnerability and verification teams.

Qualifications

• Candidates should hold a degree in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years in software design and/or verification.
• Knowledge of cryptographic engineering and side-channel resistance is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver application and embedded software IP design projects from conception to customer delivery.
• Line management: hiring, training, and developing a software engineering team.
• Define architectural solutions for complex algorithmic and system level challenges.
• Engage with cross-team stakeholders and provide customers with technical guidance.
