Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains is seeking an experienced Technical Buyer to drive procurement of Power Unit components at our Milton Keynes facility. You will manage supplier relationships and ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing to support high-performance power units for 2026 regulations.

You will identify suppliers, place orders, expedite progress, support budgeting, and contribute to continuous improvement, working under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.

Qualifications

• Experience in procuring low-volume, high-complexity mechanical/electrical components for niche Powerunit projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Creative and proactive approach to process improvement and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement for designated Power Unit components, sourcing materials and services to meet team needs.
• Identify suitable suppliers from RBPT-approved base, place orders and negotiate quality, delivery and price.
• Expedite component progress and address delays using manufacturing experience.
• Develop supplier relationships and maintain accurate information in the manufacturing system.
• Support budget planning and cost monitoring for the department.
