Job summary

Atlassian Williams F1 Team is seeking a Design Engineer to own power unit integration projects from concept to production build. You will design PU installation components, mood lighting, channels for cooling and energy storage, and ensure tight packaging within the chassis.

This hands-on role requires strong CAD skills and a passion for high-performance race engineering. You'll collaborate with aerodynamics, vehicle science, transmissions and the stress office, owning faults and delivering

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or related engineering.
• Strong CAD skills with Siemens NX preferred; training provided for other CAD systems.
• Experience in powertrain or engine installation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete power unit integration projects from concept through detail design.
• Design PU installation components and structures including mounting, cooling, exhaust, fuel and energy store systems.
• Perform structural, thermal and functional analysis calculations.
• Coordinate interfaces between power unit and chassis and work with external suppliers.
• Resolve faults with thorough analysis and timely fixes.
