Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains is seeking a mechanical design engineer to lead the design of systems interfacing the power unit with test facilities, enabling thorough evaluation of the UUT against verification criteria and supporting subsystem level test capabilities.

You will collaborate with the Test Design Team and broader RBPT organisation, delivering high-precision designs and solving complex problems under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver mechanical design projects and work with test design teams.
• Experience with translating requirements into robust mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of interfaces between the PU (ICE, ERS, ESS, Turbo) and test facilities to enable UUT evaluation.
• Coordinate subsystem level (Rig) test capability and modelling.
• Lead fault resolution activities and assess non-conformance requests and concessions.
