Job summary

National Grid plc is seeking a PowerFactory Super User in Warwick to bolster PowerFactory and Power Systems Analysis capabilities within the Customer and Network Development Team. The role focuses on problem liaison with DIgSILENT, scripting, and user administration to ensure data integrity and efficient operations.

You will support IT projects and business processes, drive improvements, and coordinate patches and upgrades, while working in a collaborative environment with IT and business

Qualifications

• PowerFactory experience and capability working with DIgSILENT PowerFactory
• Strong understanding of power system networks and analysis
• Ability to manage multi-user environments and scripts
• Experience building relationships in a technically focused environment
• Ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Liaise with DIgSILENT about PowerFactory problems and communicate data securely
• Provide workarounds when patches are needed until fixes are deployed
• Answer general queries in PowerFactory and support on scripts
• Manage user administration of PowerFactory (add/delete users, archive projects)
• Manage configuration and scripts in PowerFactory and coordinate with IT for support
• Assist users in improving business processes and in leveraging new features
