Job summary
Alecto Recruitment Limited is partnering with a leading powered access specialist to recruit a Field Service Engineer for Berkshire and the South East. You will service MEWPs and access platforms, carrying out repairs, inspections and diagnostics on site.
You will work Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities; a company van, fuel card, and annual bonus are part of the package, along with travel expenses covered and 33 days’ leave. Ongoing manufacturer training supports your progression.
Qualifications
- Experience with powered access equipment (MEWPs, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, boom lifts, mast lifts, telehandlers).
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Full UK driving licence required; IPAF qualification preferred or willing to obtain.
- LOLER experience desirable.
Responsibilities
- Service, planned maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs on powered access equipment.
- Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Carry out inspections and thorough examinations (LOLER) and provide on-site technical support.
- Accurate service, inspection and compliance reporting to customers.
