Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Limited is hiring for a Powered Access Engineer (MEWP Engineer) based in Surrey. The role offers an up to £52,000 salary, guaranteed overtime, and a £1,200 annual bonus. A company van with fuel card is provided, with travel expenses paid and generous annual leave.

You will service, diagnose, and repair powered access equipment and carry out inspections on customer sites. Join a field-based role with ongoing manufacturer training and clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills required.
• Experience on powered access, MEWPs, plant or similar equipment.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• IPAF qualification (or willingness to obtain it) requested.
• LOLER experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, PPMS, and breakdown repairs on powered access equipment.
• Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding.
• Diagnostics on powered access and access platform equipment.
• LOLER inspections and thorough examinations.
• Customer site visits and technical support.
• Accurate service, inspection and compliance reporting.
