Job summary
Alecto Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Powered Access Engineer (MEWP Engineer) for sites across East Sussex and the South East. The role offers up to £52,000 DOE, guaranteed overtime, a £1,200 annual bonus, a company van and fuel card, plus 33 days leave and a pension.
You’ll service, inspect and repair powered access equipment, diagnose faults, and support customers on site with rigorous reporting and compliance. A full UK driving licence and IPAF are required or obtainable.
Qualifications
- Experience on powered access, MEWPs, plant or similar equipment.
- IPAF qualification or willingness to obtain it.
- LOLER experience is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Ability to explain how a relay works and perform electrical fault-finding.
Responsibilities
- Servicing, planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and breakdown repairs.
- Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding.
- Diagnostics on powered access and MEWP equipment.
- LOLER inspections and thorough examinations.
- Customer site visits and technical support.
- Accurate service, inspection and compliance reporting.
