Zusammenfassung

GE Vernova in Stafford, UK is seeking a Project Manager to own a varied portfolio of service projects across the UK and Ireland. You will be the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, delivering safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Reporting to the Power Transmission Service team, you will lead cross-functional delivery with engineers, field service professionals and commercial specialists, manage risk, and ensure SQDC targets are met

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and internal teams at all levels.
• Experience working in a cross-functional, matrix organisation environment.
• Solid understanding of risk management and commercial contract principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP or project management platforms.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport (occasional UK site visits required).
• Possession of current unrestricted right to work in the UK.

Aufgaben

• Manage and deliver a portfolio of service projects from order transfer through to final acceptance certificate and cash collection, ensuring all SQDC targets are met.
• Develop and maintain accurate project costs, timescales, and contingency plans throughout each project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary customer interface for your assigned projects, managing correspondence and meetings with stakeholders.
• Coordinate and communicate project requirements across internal functions including engineering, EHS, procurement, quality, tendering, and field service teams.
• Own and maintain project risk registers, identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
• Ensure all project variations, contract changes, and early warning notices are captured and processed correctly.
• Produce accurate monthly project management reports for internal review.
• Lead Gate Reviews with key project stakeholders, ensuring all technical and financial authorisations are in place.
• Ensure timely invoice raising and proactive management of outstanding debts in line with project milestones.
• Support a culture of safety and quality by implementing all project-specific EHS requirements and conducting site visits as required.
