Job summary
LA International is seeking a Power Platform Admin for a 12-month contract based onsite in Manchester or Inverness, with daily rates of £600–£800 via Umbrella. The role covers Power BI Service administration, governance, security, and platform health, requiring strong stakeholder management and Azure AD experience.
The successful candidate will administer workspaces, apps and dataflows, enforce governance standards, monitor utilisation and performance, and maintain comprehensive documentation
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Power BI Service administration and governance for both Cloud and Reporting Server.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), access management and security configuration.
- Knowledge of enterprise governance, compliance and audit requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Power BI Service, Workspaces, Apps and Dataflows.
- Manage tenant settings, user access, workspace permissions and security controls.
- Enforce Power BI governance standards, compliance requirements, and reporting certification processes.
- Monitor platform health, capacity utilization, refresh schedules, usage metrics and audit logs.
- Manage gateways, data source connectivity and troubleshoot performance and refresh issues.
- Maintain documentation and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure platform adoption and best practices.
