Job summary

LA International Computer Consultants Ltd is seeking a Power Platform Admin for a 12-month contract, onsite in Manchester or Inverness (whichever is most convenient). The role offers daily rate of £600-£800 via Umbrella and extension possibilities on a long-term program of work.

You will administer the Power BI service, manage tenants and security, enforce governance, monitor health, and troubleshoot data connectivity and refresh issues while collaborating with stakeholders to drive platform

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Power BI Service administration and governance for cloud environments.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and access management.
Knowledge of governance, compliance and audit requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Administer Power BI service, workspaces, apps and dataflows.
Manage tenant settings, user access, workspace permissions and security controls.
Enforce governance, compliance requirements and reporting certification processes.
Monitor platform health, capacity, refresh schedules, usage metrics and audit logs.
Manage gateways, data source connectivity and troubleshoot refresh issues.
Maintain documentation and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adoption and best practices.
