Job summary

Transport for London seeks an Operations Liaison Planning Engineer (Power) to ensure projects align with LU power infrastructure and operate safely. You will coordinate between LU Power Planning, project delivery teams and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Power Operations Manager, you will focus on safeguarding resilience, conducting rigorous reviews, and providing technical support across capital investments and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with outage planning and scheduling in an operational engineering environment.
• Ability to produce reports, presentations and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of power distribution networks and HV/LV safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Forecast, schedule, issue and archive planned activities; maintain records.
• Coordinate planning meetings with projects and stakeholders.
• Attend HV Power sites to assess readiness and outages.
• Endorse RAMS and safety documents for field activities.
• Manage access bookings to the railway system and resolve clashes.
• Collaborate with Planning Engineers and deputise when needed.
• Advise on release of Power assets to projects and third parties.
