Job summary

Transport for London is seeking a Plant Engineer to support the safe, reliable operation of plant and engineering assets across the network. You will work within Central Engineering, Transport System Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering to manage existing assets and support new solutions.

The role requires experience applying TfL standards for track plant, risk management, and health and safety legislation.

Qualifications

• Experience applying TfL engineering standards relating to track plant.
• Familiar with risk management methodologies and their application to machinery and projects.
• Development and implementation of engineering standards and technical documentation.
• Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation relating to machinery and work equipment.
• Understanding of railway plant classifications and procurement/approval processes.
• Experience maintaining TfL's Plant Database and asset information.
• Support planning, performance reporting and management information development.
