Job summary

Transport for London is seeking an Operations Liaison Planning Engineer (Power) to act as the key interface between LU Power Planning and delivery teams. You will safeguard operational resilience while supporting project delivery within HV/LV power infrastructure.

The role emphasizes safety, RAMS review, and coordinating access to the railway system, with hybrid working and a permanent full-time contract based in London Underground.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of P&E power distribution network and locations under its control (Essential)
• Knowledge of HV/LV Safety Rules and their application on the network. (Essential)
• Experience with planning/reporting tools (Essential)
• Microsoft Dynamics familiarity desirable (Desirable)
• ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering - Power (Desirable)
• Excellent MS Office skills (Essential)
• Knowledge of power assets and railway network dependencies (Essential)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning meetings with projects and stakeholders
• Attend HV Power sites to assess readiness and constraints
• Review and endorse RAMS ensuring safety standards
• Manage access to railway system via central systems
• Collaborate with Planning Engineers and deputise when needed
• Provide operational advice on release of power assets to projects
