Transport for London is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Workshops Engineering team at London Underground. This high-impact role focuses on electrical and electronics engineering, delivering robust solutions to keep millions of commuters moving safely across the city.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in electrical/electronic/mechanical engineering is essential.
• Broad-based knowledge of general engineering principles.
• Good knowledge of LUL rolling stock and/or signals equipment.
• Familiarity with CAD systems and engineering design principles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of engineering specifications and changes into production processes for rolling stock, signals and general engineering.
• Manage and resolve technical queries related to production, project delivery, and material procurement with engineering teams and suppliers.
• Lead a team of engineers providing technical support to workshop production areas.
• Produce and oversee documentation such as Work Instructions and Bills of Materials.
• Create detailed estimates for activities including labour and material costs for budgeting.
• Develop Bills of Materials aligned with customer specifications and standards.
