Job summary

United Infrastructure Power is seeking an experienced Proposals Manager to lead the preparation and submission of competitive bids for major power infrastructure projects in the UK. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to develop compliant, compelling submissions supporting growth.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in proposal/bid management, and strong technical writing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills required.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities.
  • Experience in proposal or bid management within power/utility sectors is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end proposal and tender processes.
  • Review tender documents and develop bid strategies.
  • Coordinate engineering, commercial, estimating, procurement, legal, HSE, and project teams.
  • Prepare, review, and submit high-quality technical and commercial proposals.
  • Ensure submissions are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
  • Manage proposal schedules, documentation, and version control.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support client clarifications and post-submission activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement of proposal processes and templates.
