Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment in Dorking is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) to service CHP, gas engines and renewable energy systems. You will work on 450KW+ plant, perform servicing, maintenance and breakdowns, and travel across the surrounding area.

Offering £37,000–£38,750 basic, overtime (OTE £60K+) with a vehicle, training, technical progression and an enhanced pension, plus door-to-door pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with 450KW+ equipment.
• Familiar with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators, Industrial Plant or similar.
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent).
• Experience as a Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Marine Engineer.
• Customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and breakdowns
• Working on CHP, GAS Engines and renewable energy systems
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC)
• Customer facing role
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory
