Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment are seeking a Field Service Engineer with a mechanical bias to join a leading renewable energy solutions provider in Bolton. The role offers £37,000-£38,750 basic pay, overtime, a vehicle and progression opportunities within a growing power generation business.

You'll work on CHP, gas engines and generators, performing service, maintenance and fault finding across a regional patch Monday to Friday, with training and a focus on technical progression.

Qualifications

• Experience working with 450KW+ systems.
• Familiar with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators, Industrial Plant or similar.
• Experience as a Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Marine Engineer.
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and breakdowns
• Working on CHP, GAS Engines and renewable energy systems
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC)
• Customer facing role
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory
