Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) to cover Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. You'll service, maintain and repair CHP, gas engines and renewable energy systems, with a focus on reliability and customer service.

The role offers £37,000–£38,750 basic, overtime (OTE £60K+), a company vehicle, training, clear progression, and enhanced pension. Mon–Fri, door-to-door pay, and full technical progression in a growing energy sector.

Qualifications

• Experience with 450KW+ systems.
• Experience with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators or industrial plant.
• Electrical or mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ/HNC or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and fault resolution on power generation equipment.
• On-call/field service in surrounding territory, Monday to Friday.
• Customer-facing role requiring clear communication.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC).
