Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) for Canterbury to service, maintain and repair CHP and renewable energy systems. You will travel regionally, diagnose electrical faults, and support customer operations while developing your expertise in power generation.

The role offers a competitive package (£37,000–£38,750 base) plus overtime, vehicle and progression opportunities in a growing renewables sector.

Qualifications

• Experience with 450KW+ systems.
• Familiar with CHP, gas engines, generators, and industrial plants.
• Experience as a service/maintenance/marine engineer.
• Electrical or mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent).
• INDGLO

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and breakdowns.
• Working on CHP, GAS Engines and renewable energy systems.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC).
• Customer facing role.
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory.
