Job summary

Ecopac Power, part of the TTI family, is seeking a practical Electronics & Power Supply Technician for our Thame area site. You will modify, assemble, test and configure power supplies and related assemblies to meet bespoke customer requirements, with experience in wiring, soldering, testing and fault finding.

The role requires ability to read diagrams, use test equipment, and comply with EMC and safety requirements, working in a small technical team. Training on Ecopac products is provided.

Qualifications

• Understanding wiring diagrams, drawings & specs.
• Experience using test equipment (DMMs, loads, scopes).
• Knowledge of power supply protection circuits (OVP/OCP/SCP).
• Awareness of EMC & electrical compliance requirements.
• Methodical, organised, reliable approach to work.
• Strong problem-solving; work independently or in small team.
• Able to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
• Electronics qualification (HNC/HND/BTEC/NVQ/City & Guilds) or equivalent.
• Experience with AC/DC power supplies, cable assembly, loom manufacture, conformal coating, safety testing (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Modify, assemble, test and configure power supplies and related assemblies.
• Interpret and apply wiring diagrams and specs.
• Troubleshoot and fault-find to meet bespoke customer requirements.
• Maintain high-quality standards and thorough testing.
• Collaborate with small technical team for project delivery.
• Support multiple customer projects concurrently.
• Adhere to EMC and safety protocols.
